Ability Apprenticeship program
From July 2023, the Australian Department of Social Services (DSS) will start a program called the Ability Apprenticeship program that will run for 12 months. This program is designed to create pathways for people with disability to secure and ongoing employment.
Participants will be working directly in the DSS office with varied job roles which include positions in administration, policy development, and service delivery support. In addition, qualified people have the opportunity to work in the Australian Public Service agencies (APS).
