Launchpad for future Paralympians
Returning for the first time after a 3-year hiatus, the Gold Coast Recreation and Sport held an event with the participation of 500 students with disabilities from 17 schools on the Gold Coast.
Many of them have never been able to attend school sports because of their health condition. Participating in this event will create motivation, and become a source of encouragement for sports passion. Not only that, but this can also be a milestone marking the sports "career" of future athletes.
Anna-Louise Kassulke, Gold Coast Recreation and Sport chief executive, said: "There is no doubt that among the children who participate in today's sports festival will become Paralympic athletes later."
Through this inspirational story, HiCom Care also wants to send a message to parents with children with disabilities that don't give up because of the immediate difficulties, cheer and join your children to dream and do their best. every passion.
