Revised High Intensity Support Skills Descriptors

🤓From February 1, 2023, an update to the High Intensity Support Skills Descriptors (HISSD) for Service Providers (SPs) will go into effect.

😌👌This can be seen as the NDIS guideline for SP, setting out the skills and knowledge that all service providers need to meet. At the same time, it is also a basis for Participants to evaluate the quality of the service they are using.

🥰With a greater focus on Participants, this change essentially includes:
👉 Updated the content of the skills descriptors in line with contemporary practice and expert advice
👉 Updated the format and language of the descriptors to align with the contemporary language and participant focus adopted in the workforce capability framework.
